I did this painting for my domestic help. She got her home painted and she asked if could paint something for the house. I asked her what she wanted me to paint and she said, ‘Flowers.’ So, I did the below painting which happens to be my first painting of flowers done in acrylics based on a painting by Tracie Kiernan which I found on Pinterest.
She had asked me for a painting a few days before Diwali- November 12th. But then dad fell ill and I went through a very bad patch in my life. It led me to stop painting for a while. My family reminded me of her request. It was about the same time a friend sent me a picture of her artwork and asked me to choose. She said, it was a gift from her to me. I was overjoyed. I decided it was time to share the joy.
Pay kindness forward. Let it spread.

That is a wonderful gesture on your part. In fact I would say priceless. Gestures like this renew our faith in human relationships. So keep going.

Thank you for your kind words🙏. It means so much. I truly believe in the adage, ‘The more you give, the more you get’. I have experienced it several times in life. I think its God’s way of saying, ‘keep going’ too 🙂
