With the monsoon season on in India, I am inclined to paint water in all forms – I painted waterfalls ART : FLOW , raindrops Weekend conversation, art and travel and this week I painted the sea. Its my first attempt at painting these various forms of water and I’m thoroughly fascinated by the way leaving a portion of the canvas white can be used to depict rushing cascades, crystalline drops and the surge of waves.
This is a watercolour painting inspired by a painting by Maria Raczynska. Its done on an A4 size watercolor paper.
